While you stay at barranca experience Kangaroo Valley’s bespoke activities and regional hospitality.

Below are a few of our preferred local experiences which we think you will enjoy…

Autumn Forage

Be sustained by our 10-course degustation menu, meet the locals, taste cool climate wines, smell the wildflowers blooming in the warm spring air and take in some of the most breathtaking scenery of the region as you experience the Highland Valley Forage. You can enjoy a 4km experience or take in the entire 9.5km walk.

You can meander at your own pace as we take bookings at allocated times with each group around 12 -20 people.

DATES: Sat 6 March and Sat 23 October 2021

Waterfalls | Wander | Wine

We start the day with breathtaking waterfall views at Carrington Falls in Budderoo National Park, near Robertson. Spend two hours exploring the rainforest filled with precious with rare birds, native mammals and reptiles with the option of some wild swimming. Next its a visit to Bowral to wander the antique market and lunch at Harrys on Green Lane. The last stop is to Artemis Vineyard, a family-run boutique winery owned by brothers Antony and Mark Balog in Mittagong who planted the first Pinot Noir grapes in the region.

On-Demand: Bookings can be taken for 2-100 pax.

Canoes Champagne and Canapes

This self-drive experience begins in Kangaroo Valley and is the perfect combination of food, wine and wilderness. Paddle through a sunken forest and sip champagne, on a freshwater lake, in our custom-built canoes. This area was directly impacted by the bushfires so you will witness the regeneration of our native rainforest. Add in delicious local canapés, sampling cool-climate wines, as well as our expert, qualified guides, and you have the most compelling way to experience this magical waterway, imaginable.
